Our managing director Jürgen Brennig gave an expert lecture on 17 January on the topic "Enterprise Resource Planning Systems for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)". The talk was part of the module "Fundamentals of Business Information Systems" — bringing interested students together with hands-on experience from industry. In his presentation Mr Brennig explained the core functions and benefits of ERP systems specifically for SMEs. He outlined the challenges SMEs face when implementing such systems and showed practical solutions — covering both technological aspects and organisational factors.
